Pop star Britney Spears video recording for Madonna’s latest world tour has been stalled currently because of technical issues.

The Queen of Pop had asked the Toxic hitmaker to film a promo for her Sticky+Sweet tour hoping that the video will her music career back on track.

But the video was delayed because the set of the secret video was not completed as scheduled.

According to an insider the Britney will perform for the video on an elevator.

The insider adds, “The video will be very deep. You’ve never seen Britney like this before. It will blow your mind.”

Well we are desperately waiting for our mind to blown off.

Queen of Pop Madonna has given an offer to troubled popstar Britney Spears to come along on her tour, as she wants to be helpful in putting back Britney’s career on track.

The Material Girl is going to meet Spears in NY to record a video, that is going to broadcasted during her Sticky and Sweet tour which kicks of on 23rd August.

The 49-year-old singer has invited the Toxic hitmaker to accompany her onstage at some selected concerts.

A source reveals, “They are recording a video together on Sunday that will provide the backdrop for part of Madonna’s show.”

“And they are talking about Britney taking the stage on a few of the dates too.”

“It’s hoped that Madonna can help Britney get back to her old self.”

Publicity or I wonder if Madge’s concern is genuine.

After stirring up the a public outrage in religious sentiments and the growing opposition from watchdog groups Madonna and NBC have finally decided to pull out the controversial crucifixion scene from her televised concert.

However, Madonna defends her condemned scene (which includes her wearing a crown of thorns) saying,

“This is not a mocking of the church,” she said in a statement. “Rather, it is my plea to the audience to encourage mankind to help one another and to see the world as a unified whole. I believe in my heart that if Jesus were alive today he would be doing the same thing.”

Kiera M. McCaffrey, a spokeswoman for the Catholic League, said the organization was glad NBC pulled the scene. “They did the right thing,” she said, “not that they had much choice.”

Do you remember the scene where Madonna appears on stage on a glittering cross and strikes a crucifixion pose. Well it was very controversial to a few people and Madonna is trying to give her explanation. After her record breaking confessions world tour ended in Japan Madonna explained her idea of coming with the cross. She explained

I am very grateful that my show was so well received all over the world. But there seems to be many misinterpretations about my appearance on the cross and I wanted to explain it myself once and for all.

“There is a segment in my show where three of my dancers ‘confess’ or share harrowing experiences from their childhood that they ultimately overcame. My ‘confession’ follows and takes place on a crucifix that I ultimately come down from.

Madonna concludes the statement by asking of critics, “Please do not pass judgment without seeing my show.”

Guess it doesn’t have a controversial side to it at all people just misunderstood her. Well it is like social service and people must pick up their own crosses. Hey they are definitely two thumbs up for you Madonna.

Good news for Madonna! NBC has agreed to host the crucifixion footage. Cool is it not? I wonder where they would be getting 7000 to 8000 policemen from to guard the telecast headquarters from being burnt. Anyways, so far so good. Madonna is auctioning the custom made guitar especially made for DROWNING.

Her guitar technician, John Griswold, needs to stand in his feet after the adverse affects of the hurricane Katrina. Madonna gifted the guitar to him after the tour, as a token of appreciation for the services rendered by him to the Material Girl. Nice Madonna. Your heart is as beautiful as you are. I wish your mind was too.

Where is the more sensible Madonna i knew? I mean since the last two weeks, i have seen Madonna reacting awkwardly to situations. First of all, a Mafia threat and then a case against her. 7000 security men and a concert in which she repeats the same mistake. You have balls Madonna, we agree but make sure you have them forever please.

Your moves, twists and turns need a turnover Madonna. Not many were impressed with your concert in Russia. It was a big failure and more over you have the sword hanging over your head. Looks like Madonna has really angered religious authorities as it looks like a very large scale protest is gonna take place and the coming days are not gonna be very good for her too!Orthodox and patriotic forces are meeting at Pushkin Square in downtown Moscow in a demonstration against Madonna’s forthcoming Moscow show.

Some 100 people holding banners and orthodox flags with large crucifixes placed in the center are participating in the meeting. “We declare a new Holy Inquisition that will fight against the sacrilege of crosses, icons, Russian Orthodox symbols, including during Madonna’s show. The singer is an advocate of Kabbalah,” chairman of the Union of Orthodox flag-bearers Leonid Simonovich-Nikshich said at the meeting.

The main goal of the inquisition will be “to fight against slander, rather than to kill people,” he said.The Orthodox community will “do everything possible to prevent Madonna’s concert from taking place,” he said . Representatives of patriotic organizations earlier asked the authorities to ban Madonna from staging an act whereby the singer mimics the crucifixion during the concert.

Madonna’s first concert in Moscow has found a new place after security concerns threatened to cancel the show.

The organizers and city officials agreed on Monday to move Madonna’s long-awaited concert in the Russian capital from the original venue to the much larger Luzhniki Stadium, home of the Spartak Moscow soccer team.

This agreement came about after more than a week of negotiations since city officials began objecting to the original site, on the south bank of the Moscow River framed by the tower of Moscow State University. Acoording to Anton Atrashkin, press secretary for the Russian leg of Madonna’s Confessions tour.

“Luzhniki is more convenient from the point of view of security — we are sure that this is very good news for all Madonna fans in Russia,” The Stadium holds around 80,000 people, or double the number of tickets that have been sold so far.

The Russian Orthodox Church has asked people to boycott her concert because of her use of a mock crucifixion scene in her tour concerts.
