Madonna’s first concert in Moscow has found a new place after security concerns threatened to cancel the show.

The organizers and city officials agreed on Monday to move Madonna’s long-awaited concert in the Russian capital from the original venue to the much larger Luzhniki Stadium, home of the Spartak Moscow soccer team.

This agreement came about after more than a week of negotiations since city officials began objecting to the original site, on the south bank of the Moscow River framed by the tower of Moscow State University. Acoording to Anton Atrashkin, press secretary for the Russian leg of Madonna’s Confessions tour.

“Luzhniki is more convenient from the point of view of security — we are sure that this is very good news for all Madonna fans in Russia,” The Stadium holds around 80,000 people, or double the number of tickets that have been sold so far.

The Russian Orthodox Church has asked people to boycott her concert because of her use of a mock crucifixion scene in her tour concerts.

Looks like it doesn’t matter even if 36,000 tickets for Madonna’s show at Moscow were sold in a record time.

But KREML (or Kremlin… Russian Presidential Property Department) wouldn’t care if it were Madonna with her “Confessions” tour or 36,000 people. The show will not be performed at Luzhniki stadium.

And adding fire to it is that NO proper exchange program has been decided yet nor is any other stadium finalised. Well looks like some one apart from Madonna herself has to make some CONFESSIONS.

Being a high profile celebrity has its own share of privileges and pop star would be encasing in al of them as she looks forward to having dinner with the Russian President Vladimir Putin. And accompanying their father would be Putin’s two daughters. The two little ones are suppossedly big fans of Madonna and didn’t wanna let go of the dinner date with their favorite pop star.

Having being subject to quite some flak over the past few weeks over her self-crucifixion, this royal hospitality should really come off as a pleasant surprise for the queen of pop/

According to reports Prague’s Most celebrated bridge will be shut down for a day for a party featuring Madonna,something which has left the city council members fuming!!

The Diva is scheduled to perform for a fashion-company party on the cobblestone deck of the 14th century Charles Bridge,a Gothic monument,right in the heart of the city!

The party which will be on the 8th of september for French fashion designer Louis Vuitton will close the bridge “all day long” !!(In the words of the city council members!!)

Singer Madonna wants to be single again…Her family responsibilities leave her with no time for herself!!

Today Madonna’s life centers around her Husband and Kids but in the past it was clubs and bars for her!!

Says Madonna “I regret losing the freedom of being aable to go out alone to a club..Dancing alone on a dance floor without anyone to disturb me or to draw attention to myself…I regret not being able to take advantage of such anonymity!”

She also adds “The small amount of free time I have for myself is reserved for my children.There is the ice rink,pizza,DVD or a horse ride with my daughter.That might seem boring to you.But that is how it is.”

You could feel the diva’s regret!!!

Madonna is facing an arrest on charge of the mock enactment of crucifixion.The singer would be arrested when she will be perfroming in Germany on Sunday,the 20th of August if she continues with her rather criticized schedule.

the Dusseldorf Police has already warned her that she would be “insulting their religious beliefs”.Also some American-Russian mobsters are planning something against her if she tries to perform the crucifuxion.God save Madonna!!!

Madonna and her husband Guy Ritchie urging the government to clear the radio-active nuclear waste by means of some “magic”.The couple were on the roam in promoting a “Mystical” fluid tested in an Ukranian lake.

The couple are followers of jewish spiritual movement and visited Downing street,Whitehall and British Nuclear Fuels(BNFL).According to an official, “it was like a crank call . . . the scientific mechanisms and principles were just bollocks, basically.”

The Kabbalah Centre, which is based in California, believes water is a uniquely important substance that can be given magic healing powers through “meditations and the consciousness of sharing”.

Madonna claims that this birthday was her best ever. Madonna was left overjoyed after fans sang a rendition of ‘Happy Birthday’ to her as she celebrated her 48th birthday on stage.The pop superstar had been performing at London’s Wembley Arena when her team of backing singers stopped the show mid-way through and urged the audience to sing the classic song for their idol.

Almost immediately over 12,000 fans burst into song leaving Madonna visibly moved.She told the crowd: “I cannot think of a better way to spend my birthday than with you tonight.”

Madonna, who is married to British film director Guy Ritchie, thanked the fans for their tribute and admitted she would like world peace as her gift.Although, the ‘Hung Up’ singer didn’t get her wish of world peace, she did get a host of fantastic presents.Included among her gifts was a box of Nike sportswear delivered to her London home.

Madonna’s 48th birthday is certainly a lot less eventful than her birthday last year.The singer was thrown from a horse bought for her by husband Guy. She was left with a broken collar bone, three cracked ribs and a fractured hand in the horrific accident at her English countryside estate.

I’m sure she prefers the nike sportswear to the plasters and bandages…..no wonder she said it was her best birthday!;)

Madonna is always known to love controversial things.she’s back agin and this time claims to have a solution to pollution caused by radioactive waste!Madonna has been lobbying the Government about a “mystical” Kabbalah fluid which she believes can be used to clean up radioactive waste.

The superstar is a follower of the Jewish spiritual movement and the fluid, taken from a Russian lake, is said to be able to receive magic healing powers through “meditations and the consciousness of sharing”.At the Kabbalah Centre, based in Los Angeles, supporters are said to regularly chant “Chernobyl” and the names of other nuclear plants in an effort to heal the problem of nuclear waste.

Madge is understood to have approached Downing Street, the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) and British Nuclear Fuels (BNFL) with the idea.Her husband Guy Ritchie is said to have called BNFL and written a series of letters accompanied by scientific papers.BNFL looked into the theory but could find no scientific basis for the claims. One senior executive is reported to have said the scheme defies the laws of physics.Madonna claims the water has proved successful in neutralising dangerous nuclear waste in Russia.

Looks as if the gods are not in Madonnas favour ..especially seeing the reactions of certain religious organisations. A German bishop has urged fans to boycott pop diva Madonna’s tour of the country, amid a controversy because she is symbolically crucified on stage.

“I thought Madonna was better than this because she claims to be a religious person,”said Protestant Bishop Margot Kaesmann
“But maybe the only way an aging superstar can attract attention is to offend people’s religious sentiments.”

She added: “I advise people to ignore Madonna. Stars come and go, but the Christian faith endures.”

Madonna, 47, has already offended religious authorities in Italy and Russia with her infamous crucifixion routine in which she sings wearing a crown of thorns and hitched to a wooden cross.The German leg of her Confessions world tour has started in the western city of Duesseldorf.

Prosecuting authorities in the city at the weekend said a member of the public has filed a complaint of blasphemy and would watch the concert closely to see whether Madonna is breaking the law.The office of the archbishop of Cologne has also deplored Madonna’s provocative use of religious imagery.

As of now the only thought on Madonnas mind must be”oh lord”!
