It seems that pop diva Madonna is not deterred by the flak she drew when she adopted baby David Banda from Malawi last year, for the singer is now all set to adopt another baby from the same region.

The superstar, who has just donated £1.5million to set up a Kabbalah centre in the African republic, has told friends she thinks she owes it to David to find him a brother or sister.

The singer has revealed that she and husband Guy Ritchie are planning another trip to Africa.

According to friends, Guy, who is currently in LA working on a new movie, is planning to fly to Malawi before the end of the month.

“Guy went out there to do quite a bit of the legwork before they adopted David. He has said he’s going to Malawi imminently to start doing some research.

He and Madonna have invested a lot of money into building a Kabbalah centre in Malawi and Guy wants to go out to see how the project is developing,” a source was quoted by the Daily Mail, as saying.

“The idea is also that they will start looking for another child. They adore David and from the start they said they wanted to adopt a little girl as well.

Madonna feels she has two biological children of her own and that she owes it to David to bring him up with another Malawian,” he added.

Madonna is literally out preaching these days. She hopes to inspire others by modelling herself on great leaders like Gandhi, Martin Luther King, and John Lennon.

She had angered church leaders with a controversial crucifixion scene on her Confessions tour, but insists she is trying to spread a message about peace and love.

Madonna told Sirius Satellite Radio’s OutQ channel, “I want to be like Gandhi and Martin Luther King and John Lennon - but I want to stay alive. For me we all need to be Jesus in our time.”

The star defends the concert crucifixion scene, which featured video images of Aids orphans in Africa, saying, “Jesus’ message was to love your neighbor as yourself, and these are people in need.

“I hope people got that message. Of course, some people thought, ‘Oh, she’s just being controversial, she’s just getting on a cross and trying to p**s people off.’ But that wasn’t my intention at all.”

Feminist Madonna says she would rather spend time with gay men than anyone else, for they are the only people who don’t find strong women intimidating, in criticism of men who tend to put down strong women.

In an interview with Sirius Satellite Radio’s OutQ channel, Madonna insisted that gay men made the best companions for tough women. ( did I hear that right hahaha tough men or tough women )

“Gay men are perfect men for girls who are tough,” a source quoted her, as saying.

As for why Madge seems to think so, well it seems that that’s because they happen to be in touch with their feelings.

Another thing that tips the scales in the favour of gay men, is that always pay attention to the details.

“They’re not threatened by strong women, and they’re usually very in touch with their feelings and pay attention to details. I’ve always had an affinity with gay men!” Madonna added.

I wont be surprised if she is elected as a female spokesperson for Gay activists.

Madonna was last night named the most stylish star by British fashion magazine Elle.

She was honoured with the Style Icon Award for a career which has encompassed countless different looks over two decades.

She was praised by the Elle Style Awards panel for her ever-evolving image, from the fingerless gloves of the 1980s to her current incarnation as a leotard-clad disco diva.

Madonna and Guy Ritchie have been married for nearly six years. But according to sources, the marriage is starting to become quite rocky!

The family of five is to spend two weeks in the Maldives, in what has been speculated as a trip to save their marriage.

A comment made by a ‘friend’ of Mr Ritchie, reported in The News of the World, was

“It’s make or break. They even argued over where to go, so things aren’t good. Guy has let slip their marriage is hanging by a thread. It’s sad.”

Pop Princess Kylie Minogue who broke up with long-term boyfriend Olivier Martinez last week, has now made up her mind for adopting a child. Minogue’s close pal revealed,

“She has been contacting adoption agencies in Australia and in the UK as well, regardless of her not having a partner…In the last few days she has even been talking to Madonna, asking her advice on adopting a child from abroad. They were talking about Malawi and the other African countries.'’

Who better than Madonna to advise Kylie on adoption from Africa. Make sure you inform her of the repercussions too Madonna
